We visited Mt.Princeton for a wedding this past week and I would give 10 stars for the hospitality that all staff members gave. The staff treat you like your in their home and they are accommodating to every need. The view is also 10 stars. Absolutely beautiful views of nature with lots of fun things to do. One of the most relaxing places I have ever seen. The rooms in the cabins were clean and beautiful but unfortunately the lodge rooms were old and outdated. The carpets need to be replaced with hardwood. Because they were old and crusty when you walked on them. The heating system seemed old and outdated. Also the walls are very thin. I also would suggest adding drying racks or hooks for suits and robes. Another suggestion would be to add what to bring for the hot springs on the website, since many travellers are not educated on how to be prepared for a hot springs experience. Maybe supplying or renting out robes and slippers like the towel card system would be a perk. The beds were comfortable and warm. Either way I still will give 5 stars because I truly feel like the beauty of Mt.Princeton and the hospitality was way over and beyond what I expected! My suggestion is to try and stay in the cabins and I do hope Mt.Princeton thinks about updating the lodge rooms in the future because the quality of those rooms are not worth the price.
I really love this hot springs, it's the one I keep coming back to. It's a nice quiet place, and I really enjoy lying in the river surrounded by rocks. The upper area across the bridge is lovely too. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a weekend getaway
The food at the restaurant is delicious, and so are the adult beverages. The juice bar in the spa is such a nice feature, and it serves as a general reminder to hydrate throughout the day.
This place is awesome! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed sitting along the wall in the stream. There are rock enclosures along the stream that hot water from the springs are pumped into. You can stay in those and get warm, then hop over the rocks into the stream to cool off. Very relaxing to be warm and gear the stream. We highly recommend this place. Bring your own towels because they rent them if needed. The facility also has a very nice sauna!
All in all a magical place!
I've stayed in three different rooms/cabins now and they are also clean and comfortable. The only reccomendation I have for management as far as the accommodation goes is that it's probably time for a new round of pillows.
We just came for the hot springs for an evening and were not disappointed. The creek side pools were otherworldly and while you need to leave some time to get yours the way you like it, there's nothing else like it. Of course the regular pools of hot spring water were also amazing. Finally, the gentleman at the counter was as kind and helpful as humanly possible. That man needs a raise. Thank you for the wonderful evening.
Fantastic experience, a beautiful setting for a relaxing stay. The hot springs and facilities are always clean and well maintained.
