HORRIBLE!! Our cabin had a bathroom and kitchen sink but no running water. Have fun pooping in the woods! There were no sheets on the beds. One bed was a thin roll up mattress one the floor. They kept some of our deposit even though we followed Jeff's many, let's call it, "eccentric" notes. I never write reviews but I wouldn't wish the bad on myself Karma by not warning others
Great place! People give Bunny Lane Cabins bad reviews because they clearly don't understand what this place is all about. It's an off-the-grid type feel while still having basics luxuries (i.e. running water, electricity, bathroom, wifi). Returning people don't come here expecting to spend a luxury vacation in the mountains.. We come back to stay in a relaxing and remote place with almost unlimited activities and opportunities around, ranging from hot springs to hiking, white water rafting, fishing and off-roading. I have returned to the Bunny Lane Cabins for the 4th time now and have never been disappointed!
Gorgeous place. Nice rustic feeling cabins with a fire pit for each. If you're looking for luxury go stay in a hotel. If you're looking for a nice place away from city life look no further
STAY AWAY!!!
Jeff and Tracie appear to be running a scam at Bunnylane Cabins. Here was my experience: I booked the Wild Hare cabin for a Saturday and Sunday night in February at a rate of $70/night. Seemed reasonable at the time, but they asked for a $200 damage deposit due at the time of booking. Fine. Later did I realize that their cancellation policy was bogus. If you need to cancel for any reason, you will forfeit the entire charge unless the nights you originally booked get re-booked by another party.
Worse place I have ever stayed. First off there was no one to even direct us where to go upon arrival. When I got out of the car mosquitoes swarmed like u were in alaska. They're were more condescending neurotic notes throughout than anywhere I've ever seen. There are no sheets on the bed those are 25 extra. All in all worse stay ever DO NOT STAY HERE.
Here’s the kicker! After I cancelled my reservation, Jeff and Tracie raised the price of the Wild Hare cabin from $70/night to $125/night. I contacted them to see what the deal was. They told me that I had actually booked the cabin for $125/night and that nothing was wrong. I forwarded the original confirmation which said $70/night telling them if they are raising the price, that their cancellation policy should be null and void, and that I should be entitled to getting a full refund for $350. Yes, for two nights at their “Pay it Forward” cabins was going to cost me $350. They disagreed. I notified them that I would be contacting my credit card company to dispute the charge.
Now I would have been okay with them keeping $50 for their troubles if they would have just refunded my money, but instead they wanted to be greedy so I hit them for the full amount. I would have even been okay with them keeping the $150 if they would have refunded me the $200 damage deposit. It’s a “damage deposit.” If I’m not going to use the cabin, then I’m not going to cause any damage. Right? These people have no business skills or have any regard for customer appreciation. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
